Caring for your
UniCeramica surface.

UniCeramica slabs are a durable, low-maintenance surface designed for everyday use. They are highly resistant to stains, scratches, heat and moisture — regular cleaning and correct care will keep your surface performing and looking its best for years to come.

Daily cleaning · 02

Simple, everyday care.

Avoid abrasive pads or harsh cleaning products that may dull the surface over time.

01

Use a soft cloth

A microfibre cloth or non-abrasive sponge is all that is needed.

02

Warm water

Clean with warm water and a mild pH-neutral cleaner if required.

03

Wipe spills promptly

Clean spills as soon as possible to prevent residue build-up.

04

Dry the surface

Drying after cleaning maintains a streak-free finish.

Spills & stains · 03

Removing spills and stains.

UniCeramica is highly stain-resistant, but some substances need a little more attention. Always test any cleaning product on a small, inconspicuous area first.

01

Food, grease and oils

Use warm water with a mild detergent.

02

Dried-on residue

Use a non-abrasive scraper suitable for porcelain surfaces.

03

Hard water marks

Use a stone-safe cleaner designed for porcelain.

Heat & scratches · 04

Durable, with a little care.

UniCeramica has excellent heat and scratch resistance. These habits protect the finish and the surrounding joinery.

01

Use trivets and heat mats

Avoid placing extremely hot cookware directly on the surface for prolonged periods.

02

Do not drag heavy objects

Avoid dragging heavy or sharp items across the surface.

03

Protect with pads

Use protective pads under appliances or items with rough bases.

04

Never cut directly

Do not use the surface as a cutting board.

Avoid · 05

Cleaning products to avoid.

These products may leave residue or affect the appearance of the surface.

01

Bleach and strong acids

Highly acidic chemicals can affect the finish.

02

Abrasive powders and creams

Including steel wool and abrasive scrubbers.

03

Strong alkaline cleaners

Not suitable for porcelain surfaces.

04

Wax and polishing agents

These leave a residue on a non-porous surface.

Outdoor & high traffic · 06

Exterior and high-use areas.

01

Sweep or rinse regularly

Remove dirt and debris before it builds up.

02

Clean spills promptly

Prompt cleaning prevents residue and marking.

03

Avoid organic build-up

Do not allow dirt and organic material to accumulate over time.

Chipping prevention · 07

Care around edges and cut-outs.

UniCeramica slabs are highly durable; however, edges, corners and cut-out areas can be more susceptible to impact damage. If a chip occurs, stop using the affected area and contact your fabricator for advice on repair options.

01

Mind the edges

Avoid dropping heavy or sharp objects, especially near edges and corners.

02

Do not sit or stand on the slab

Never place excessive weight on unsupported areas.

03

Take care at cut-outs

Extra care is needed around sink cut-outs, cooktops and exposed edges.

04

Professional installation

Handling, fabrication and installation should be completed by experienced professionals.

Important information

Natural variation between batches.
